Matt Thomson This is the first recording I ever bought on Bandcamp, having heard about Esperanza on a thing about unsigned bands on, probably, Channel 4. Esperanza are a great ska band - Scots, too, which is nice because we're so used to ska bands coming from Coventry and London. What really shines on this album is the band's horn section, which is right up there with the Specials. Favorite track: Troubled Lands.
